Clara Dessau is a Danish actress widely recognized for her breakout leading role as undercover intelligence agent Tea in the Netflix crime thriller series The Asset (Danish title: Legenden), which premiered globally in October 2025 and quickly topped Netflix charts in numerous countries.
In The Asset, Dessau's character is an aspiring police cadet with a troubled past who is recruited by Denmark's security and intelligence service to infiltrate a brutal criminal organization. Her performance has been praised as tense, expressive, and nuanced, effectively capturing the moral dilemmas and the discomfort of living a double life.
Prior to her international breakthrough, Dessau appeared in several other Danish television productions, including a recurring role as Mikka in the series Lover (2020–2021) and appearances in Baby Fever (2022/2024), Carmen Curlers (2023), and Darkness: Those Who Kill (2023). She has also acted in short films such as Aquari (2023) and Duty Free (2024).
