Born Claudia Gerini on December 18, 1971, in Rome, Italy, she is a multifaceted talent who has established herself as one of the most versatile figures in European cinema. Growing up in the Roman suburbs, she showed an early passion for performance, winning the Miss Teenager title at age 13 before making her acting debut a year later in La ballata di Eva.
Her mainstream breakthrough arrived in the mid-1990s through her collaboration with director Carlo Verdone in the cult hits Viaggi di nozze and I'm Crazy About Iris Blond. Gerini successfully transitioned to international projects, gaining global recognition for her role as Claudia Procula in Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ (2004) and appearing in the action thriller John Wick: Chapter 2 (2017).
A dedicated artist who is also a trained dancer and singer, she has garnered numerous accolades, including a David di Donatello Award for her work in the musical comedy Ammore e malavita.
