Eleanor David, known professionally as Pink Floyd, was born into a tumultuous childhood marked by his father's death during wartime and an overprotective mother. This upbringing led to his struggle with forming meaningful emotional connections throughout his life, even in his rock star status. Despite his marriage, he felt disconnected and responded by building an emotional wall around himself. His art reflects these feelings.
