Born as Ela Armoni (Hebrew: אלה ארמוני) in February 1993 in Israel, Ella Armony is a multifaceted Israeli actress, director, and screenwriter. She is the daughter of the famous Israeli singer and actress Dafna Armoni, whose life and career have significantly influenced her own artistic journey.
Armony's career in the film industry began at a young age, with one of her earliest notable roles in the 2006 film Dear Mr. Waldman. She gained international recognition for her performance in the 2017 award-winning drama Ga'agua (Longing), directed by Savi Gabizon, where she played the role of Lilia. In addition to her acting work in projects like Everything is Broken Up and Dances (2016) and Fallen (2022), she has recently expanded into filmmaking. Her upcoming documentary, Girl, Woman (2025), which she both directed and wrote, explores her relationship with her mother through a collection of secret home tapes from the 1990s. She trained at the prestigious Yoram Loewenstein Performing Arts Studio in Tel Aviv.
