Fenja Rühl is a German actress known for her work in various film and television productions. She was born on January 22, 1963, in Bad Homburg vor der Höhe, Hesse, Germany. Her full birth name is recorded as Fenja Rühl.
Growing up in a family of actors, she gained her first filming experience as a child. She later pursued formal training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and studied theater sciences at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt. Her career spans several decades, including early roles in popular German series such as Diese Drombuschs (1990) and a significant stint as the original Barbara Wiebe/Graf in the long-running soap opera Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten (1993).
In recent years, she has been involved in several short films and independent projects. In the 2016 thriller "Die dunkle Kammer" (The Dark Chamber), she played the lead role of Maria Riess.
