Freida Pinto, born October 18, 1984 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is an Indian actress who gained prominence with her debut film 'Slumdog Millionaire' (2008), earning critical acclaim for roles in 'Miral' (2010), 'Trishna' (2011), and 'Immortals' (2011). She also starred as Phaedra, a priestess alongside Henry Cavill's Theseus, in the epic fantasy film 'Immortals'. Pinto has been recognized for breaking stereotypical Indian woman roles in foreign films.
