She won two Nastro d'Argento awards: Best Supporting Actress for 'Fontamara' (1981) and Best Actress for her leading role in 'Immacolata e Concetta'. Notably, she starred in the film 'The Whores', which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival in 1994.
