Born in Zurich to parents of Spanish and Italian descent, Isabel Florido is a multifaceted performer who has built a successful international career across television, film, and live events. She first rose to widespread prominence in the late 1990s through her role as Ilona "Lona Dee" Dertinger in the popular German RTL soap opera Unter uns, a character she portrayed from 1995 to 2000. Beyond her television success, she has appeared in films such as the 2003 drama Sem Ela (where she played Rose) and Telma demain (2005).
Florido's professional foundation was laid at the London Studio Centre, where she trained in acting, singing, and dancing, later appearing in musicals like Hair.
