In 1985, Isis Peyrade made her acting debut in the television film "Donatien-François, Marquis de Sade," portraying Laure de Lauris, the fiancée whom the notorious figure abandoned to marry Renée Pelagie de Montreuil. Following this role, Peyrade did not appear on screen again until she starred in the 1997 French television series "Alliance cherche doigt." After a two-year hiatus, she returned for a part in the 2001 crime drama "Les Vilains." It was not until five years after her debut that Peyrade's distinctive physical attributes were showcased in the international hit film "Amélie," earning her recognition for her assets.
