Born on February 17, 1982, in Hoogeveen, Netherlands, Jill de Jong (also known as Jildou de Jong) is a multifaceted Dutch model, actress, and wellness expert. She rose to international prominence in 2002 when she was selected by Eidos Interactive as the official character model for Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness video game. This high-profile role served as a springboard from her already successful modeling career, which began at age 15 and included major campaigns for luxury brands like Ralph Lauren, Escada, and L’Oréal.
In the world of film, de Jong is recognized for her performance in the 2012 comedy Nature Calls, where she appeared alongside actors Patton Oswalt and Johnny Knoxville. She also contributed to the gaming community by appearing in the documentary 10 Years of Tomb Raider: A GameTap Retrospective.
