Biografia completa
Born on April 22, 1979, in Kaiserslautern, Lisa Wagner is a highly acclaimed German stage and screen actress recognized for her intense and versatile performances. She laid the foundation for her career at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich, where she studied from 1999 to 2003. Even before graduating, she joined the ensemble of the prestigious Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel (Residenztheater), remaining a core member until 2011.
Wagner's breakthrough in film came in 2006 with the ensemble comedy Shoppen. However, it was her haunting portrayal of a defense attorney in the Tatort episode "Nie wieder frei sein" (2010) that brought her widespread critical acclaim, earning her the Grimme Award and the Bavarian TV Award. From 2014 to 2021, she captivated audiences as the titular lead in the ZDF crime series Kommissarin Heller, playing the intuitive and unconventional detective Winnie Heller.
Her career reached another peak in 2017 when she received the Goldene Kamera for Best Actress for her chilling performance as Beate Zschäpe in Letzte Ausfahrt Gera. Wagner's filmography is marked by a wide range of roles, from historical dramas like Weissensee to contemporary comedies like Die Wespe, for which she won the German Actor Award in 2022. Known for her ability to portray complex, often "unpredictable" characters, she remains one of the most respected figures in modern German television and cinema.
