Biografia completa
The British actress Lydia Lisle was born Valerie Lisle on October 26, 1947, in Leicester, Leicestershire, England. She was known for her roles in films and television series during the 1970s and early 1980s.
Her career highlights include the 1977 film Cruel Passion (also known as Marquis de Sade's Justine), in which she played Juliette, the amoral sister of the virtuous Justine. She also appeared in the critically acclaimed 1980 movie The Elephant Man. On television, she made guest appearances in popular series such as Space: 1999 and The Professionals.
Lisle's career seemed to wind down in the early 1980s, and she is said to have largely disappeared from public view. She died on May 11, 2017, in London at the age of 69. It was later reported that she had died without a will and her estate went to the government's Bona Vacantia list, suggesting she had few known relatives.
