Maïwenn Le Besco, born Maïwenn Aurélia Nedjma Le Besco, is a French actress and filmmaker who began her career as a child actor, notably playing 'Elle' in the 1983 film 'L'été meurtrier'. She married director Luc Besson and temporarily left acting after their daughter's birth.
