Mariana Di Girólamo is a prominent Chilean stage and screen actress, born on January 22, 1990, in Santiago, Chile. Her full birth name is Mariana Di Girólamo Arteaga.
Coming from a distinguished artistic family—she is the niece of the legendary actress Claudia Di Girólamo—Mariana initially began studying obstetrics before pivoting to her true passion, acting, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She rose to national stardom through her work in popular Chilean telenovelas like Pituca sin Lucas and Perdona Nuestros Pecados. However, it was her fearless lead performance as a reggaeton dancer in Pablo Larraín's 2019 film Ema that brought her international acclaim. Since then, she has become a frequent collaborator with director Lucía Puenzo, starring in the series La Jauría and the psychological drama Los Impactados, for which she has received multiple awards for her transformative acting style.
