"Peter Paul Rubens, a Flemish artist renowned for his depictions of corpulent nude women, found an echo in Canadian actress Mary Beth Rubens' fame for displaying her flesh onscreen. Debuting in the R-rated slasher film 'Prom Night' (1980), Mary Beth, then a dark-haired ingenue, stole scenes with her bare breasts and rounded derriere alongside Jamie Lee Curtis. Despite 'Firebird 2015 A.D.'s (1981) critical failure, its topless starlet proved herself a standout. Mary Beth's television career flourished too; after recurring on 'Bizarre' (1980), she headlined 'E.N.G.' (1989-1993), earning a Gemini Award nod.
Yet, her closest brush with Anatomy Awards came for her explicit role in the R-rated comedy 'Perfect Timing' (1986), featuring Michele Scarabelli and Nancy Cser. Here, Mary Beth bared all, displaying her breasts, genitalia, and backside.
