Mary Castro, also known by her married name Mary Schroeder, was born as Mary Antoinette Castro on April 14, 1981, in West Covina, California. Growing up in the suburb of La Verne, she developed an early passion for music and performance. Her vocal talent was recognized during high school, leading her to earn a vocal music scholarship to the University of La Verne before she transitioned into professional acting.
After honing her skills at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, she established herself in Hollywood with a variety of roles in major TV shows and films. She is perhaps best recognized for her appearance in the film Reno 911!: Miami (2007), where she served as a body double for the character Wiegel. Her extensive filmography also includes credits in Epic Movie, Las Vegas, and The War at Home.
