Nammi Le is a Vietnamese-Australian actress, best known for her leading role as Linh in the 2012 Australian drama film Careless Love. Born in Saigon, Vietnam, she immigrated to Sydney, Australia, with her family as an infant "boat person". Prior to her acting career, Le pursued a conventional path, earning a Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and working as an IT auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Driven by a passion for painting and drawing, she eventually pivoted to the arts, which led to her being cast in her first independent feature film, Ra Choi, in 2007. Her performance in Ra Choi caught the attention of veteran director John Duigan, who cast her as the lead in Careless Love, a role that garnered critical praise for her portrayal of a complex, resilient character. Le is married to John Duigan and continues to be involved in artistic pursuits.
