Nicole Trunfio was born on March 16, 1986, in Merredin, Western Australia, under her birth name Nicole Trunfio. Raised in a conservative Italian-Australian household, she spent her early years in the Australian bush before her life took a dramatic turn at age 15 when she won the television competition Search for a Supermodel. This victory launched an international modeling career that saw her move to New York City and work with iconic fashion houses such as Gucci, Chanel, and Versace. In addition to her success on the runway and as a mentor on shows like Make Me a Supermodel, she pursued her passion for acting, appearing in the 2010 film Somewhere directed by Sofia Coppola.
