Pilar Montserrat Lastra was born on January 15, 1981, in Monterey Park, California. She rose to international prominence as a model and media personality, achieving widespread recognition as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for August 2004. Beyond her modeling career, she became a household name as a suitcase model on the hit NBC game show Deal or No Deal, where she was famously associated with briefcase #14. In 2006, she was honored as part of People magazine's "100 Most Beautiful People" alongside her fellow models from the show.
In addition to her television work, Lastra has built a successful career in broadcasting and writing.
