Ragnheiður Arnardóttir stars as a young widow in 'Skammdegi' (1985). After returning to Iceland, she moves into her in-laws' isolated farm near a small fishing village on the west coast. She aims to buy out their share of the farm with help from a local businessman. However, she faces unknown threats in the menacing winter landscape that put her life at risk.
