Born Claudia Gerini on December 18, 1971, in Rome, Italy, she is a multifaceted talent who has established herself as one of the most versatile figures in European cinema. Growing up in the Roman suburbs, she showed an early passion for performance, winning the Miss Teenager title at age 13 before making her acting debut a year later in La ballata di Eva.
Her mainstream breakthrough arrived in the mid-1990s through her collaboration with director Carlo Verdone in the cult hits Viaggi di nozze and I'm Crazy About Iris Blond. Born as Valentina Bellè on April 16, 1992, in Verona, Italy, the actress was raised in a multicultural household by an Italian father and a German mother. Her passion for the arts began in childhood, leading her to work as a model after high school before pursuing a formal acting education. Her training took her across the globe, including the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City and a stint in London before she ultimately graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.
Bellè’s career skyrocketed with her role as Lucrezia Tornabuoni in the international series Medici: Masters of Florence. Storia
